Our Beliefs
We are firm believers in Jesus Christ as our God and Savior. Salvation is obtained only through belief in Jesus Christ, not through one’s behavior. (Romans 5:1, 6-11) Moreover, the Lord Jesus purchased our salvation with His blood which has cleansed us from sin for our entire lifetime. The work has been completed as indicated by Jesus who is sitting at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. (Hebrews 10:12)
Furthermore, we are convicted that there is only ONE God – not a trinity – and His name is Jesus Christ. We are baptized by immersion in water in the name of Jesus who is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe the Holy Spirit is a gift of God who dwells within all of His true believers. His purpose is to be a comforter as well as lead and guide us into all truth. (John 14:16 -17, 26)
We believe that everyone who has ever lived will stand before God and give an account of their lives to Him. (Revelation 20:11 -12)
We believe that we must be born again to enter into the Kingdom of God. When we are born again, we will have a body like unto Jesus’ resurrected body and be able to move like the wind. (John 3:3 – 8) In this new body, we will reign as kings and priests under God’s authority over His new heaven and new earth. (Revelation 1:4 -6; 21:1)
Finally, we believe that Jesus Christ is God’s spokesman to us. (Hebrews 1:1 – 3) Jesus’ words show us the way to salvation. Jesus’ words are truth. Jesus’ words give us eternal life.
